Dhaka Bank PLC and Ascent Health Limited have signed a landmark Corporate Health Agreement, formalising their collaboration on 30 March 2026 at the Head Office of Dhaka Bank PLC. The agreement is designed to provide comprehensive healthcare benefits to bank employees and cardholders, reinforcing the institutions’ commitment to well-being and preventive care.
The Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was officially executed by Md. Mostaque Ahmed, Deputy Managing Director and Chief Emerging Market Officer of Dhaka Bank PLC, and Dr. Anwarul Iqbal, Chief Executive Officer of Ascent Health Limited, representing their respective organisations. The signing ceremony convened senior leadership from both entities, reflecting the strategic importance of this partnership.
Attending from Ascent Group were Amer Ahmed, Director, and Ronald Micky, FCPA, FCMA (UK), Chief Operating Officer. Dhaka Bank PLC’s delegation included H.M. Mostafizur Rahaman, Senior Executive Vice President and Head of the Retail Business Division, M. Rezaur Rahman, Senior Executive Vice President and Head of the Human Resources Division, and Mosleh Saad Mahmud, Executive Vice President and Head of the Cash Management Unit. Other senior officials from both organisations were also present to witness the event.
Through this agreement, Dhaka Bank PLC cardholders and employees will receive up to 30% discount on pathological tests. Samples can be collected conveniently either from home or at the doctor’s chamber via Ascent Health Limited. Additionally, the partnership offers consultations with experienced doctors across multiple specialties including internal medicine, respiratory medicine, rheumatology, dermatology, nephrology, neurology, gynaecology, and paediatrics.
A dedicated contact officer will be assigned to each participant to ensure seamless service, supported by standard call centre facilities for additional guidance and assistance.
