Iraqi Militants Place Ten Million Dollar Bounty on Donald Trump

BAGHDAD — An Iraqi umbrella group of Iran-backed militants has announced a bounty of 10 million US dollars for the assassination of US President Donald Trump. According to current exchange rates, the reward equates to approximately 1.23 billion Bangladeshi taka.

The announcement was made by the Islamic Resistance in Iraq (IRI) via a formal statement distributed through their affiliated communication networks. The group declared that the substantial reward will be paid to any individual, institution, or organisation that successfully executes the American leader, whom they explicitly classified as a high-profile criminal.

Funded by Private Donations

According to the militant coalition, the multi-million-dollar bounty was raised entirely through internal contributions. The faction stated that financial donations were pooled from their active members and regional supporters specifically to fund the assassination plot.

The group’s statement carried highly charged ideological rhetoric, warning that Western leaders would find no sanctuary from their operational reach. “The free people of the world will relentlessly pursue the killers of children and scientists,” the official proclamation read. “Tyrants will never taste peace, and this criminal will find no safe haven from the righteous fury of honourable men.”

The leadership of the Islamic Resistance in Iraq emphasised that extracting blood revenge for their fallen commanders remains a mandatory religious and military obligation for all their fighters. They asserted that the blood of their martyrs would continue to destabilise the positions of arrogant Western powers until all foreign intervention forces are expelled from the region and the strongholds of tyranny are dismantled.

Admission of Targeted Assassinations

The timing of the bounty is directly linked to recent diplomatic disclosures in Washington. According to reports published by regional media outlets, including Gulf News, President Trump reportedly made a candid admission regarding past American military operations during a high-level White House meeting with an Iraqi delegation.

During the discussions, which involved figures close to the Iraqi political establishment, Trump allegedly acknowledged his direct role in authorising the high-profile January 2020 drone strike outside Baghdad International Airport. That targeted operation resulted in the deaths of Major General Qasem Soleimani, the commander of Iran’s elite Quds Force, and Abu Mahdi al-Muhandis, the influential deputy chief of Iraq’s Popular Mobilisation Forces.

The public confirmation of personal responsibility by the US President deeply angered the command council of the Islamic Resistance in Iraq. Factions within the coalition view the admission as a flagrant boast of state-sanctioned murder, prompting them to swiftly issue the financial reward for his death. Security agencies in Washington have reportedly reviewed the threats, maintaining heightened protective protocols for the American president amidst ongoing regional volatility.
