A male suspect was apprehended at the Dhaka Airport Railway Station after allegedly attempting to flee with a significant sum of money stolen from a female passenger. The suspect, identified as Rupak Mia, is a resident of the Birpur area within the Arshinagar sub-district of Narsingdi. Rupak Mia reportedly snatched a bag containing 50,000 BDT (Bangladeshi Taka) and attempted to escape through the crowded terminal.

Observant bystanders and fellow passengers intervened immediately, successfully intercepting the suspect before he could exit the station premises. He was initially detained by the public and subsequently handed over to the Ansar members stationed at the railway for security duties.
