Registered students across the country, along with their family members, can access telemedicine services throughout the year for only 100 Taka. This opportunity has been provided by educational supplies provider Kagojbari and telemedicine service provider Medico Bio. To contribute to education and healthcare, the two organizations signed a memorandum of understanding at Medico Bio’s corporate office in Dhanmondi, Dhaka on Tuesday. This initiative marks a milestone in the country’s education and health sector.
Under the agreement, Kagojbari will provide low-cost ID cards to students in educational institutions nationwide. Schools affiliated with Kagojbari will be able to access year-round telemedicine services through Medico Bio for just 100 Taka. Registered students and their family members will also benefit from medical services.
Four free medical camps will be organized annually in educational institutions across the country. Through the Medico Bio app, a student and their family members can consult specialist doctors via audio and video calls at any time of the day.
Additionally, services include digital prescriptions, ambulance service, special discounts at hospitals and diagnostic pharmacies, home delivery of medicines, lab report uploads, and medicine reminder facilities. These services are only available to institutions partnered with Kagojbari.
At the signing ceremony, Kagojbari was represented by Managing Director Rezoan Kabir, Directors Zahid Anwar and Md. Shah Alam, and Executive Officer Shakhiruzzaman. Medico Bio was represented by Director Md. Meshkatur Rahman Bandhan and COO Md. Nazmul Alam Noman, among others.
Notably, Kagojbari has already announced the ‘Guinness World Record Educational Supplies Donation Campaign-2025’. In this campaign, within 12 hours, approximately 450,000 students across 1,500 schools nationwide will receive one month of educational materials for free. This will break the previous world record set jointly by the USA and India in 2022 and establish a new record in Bangladesh.
