Police Headquarters has issued an official notification announcing the routine transfer and reassignment of ten officers holding the rank of Additional Superintendent of Police (ASP). The reshuffle, which affects senior personnel posted in various specialized units and field positions nationwide, aims to streamline police administration and bolster operational efficiency across key districts.
Under the instructions contained in the directive, officers serving within specialized branches—including the Special Branch (SB), Criminal Investigation Department (CID), Rapid Action Battalion (RAB), and Industrial Police—have been reassigned to district-level and municipal roles.

Md. Tofael Hossain Sarkar, previously serving in the Special Branch, has been transferred to Brahmanbaria.

Mehedi Hasan, also from the Special Branch, has been reassigned to Satkhira.
