Trust Bank PLC has taken a major step in advancing digital banking in Bangladesh with the launch of its first Smart Point, featuring the country’s inaugural Smart Teller Machine (STM). The initiative highlights the bank’s ongoing commitment to innovation, operational efficiency, and enhanced customer convenience.
The Smart Point, situated at SKS Tower in Mohakhali, was inaugurated by the Chairman of Trust Bank PLC and Chief of Army Staff, General Waker-Uz-Zaman, SBP, OSP, SGP, psc, who attended as the chief guest. The ceremony was also graced by Managing Director and CEO Ahsan Zaman Chowdhury, board members, senior officials from the Bangladesh Army, and senior executives of the bank.

By automating routine transactions, the bank aims to provide faster, more convenient service while freeing staff to focus on more complex customer needs.
