The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) of Iran has conducted targeted strikes on United States military positions across the Middle East. Shortly after the events in Jordan, emergency sirens began sounding across Kuwait. The Kuwaiti military command issued an urgent statement confirming that the nation’s air defence infrastructure had been fully deployed to intercept incoming threats.

“Kuwait’s air defence systems are actively countering enemy aircraft or targets,” the military statement declared.

The General Staff instructed all individuals within the country to relocate to designated secure shelters immediately and remain there until subsequent operational clearances are issued. The military also emphasised that citizens must rely solely on verified government updates rather than unverified reports.

The hostilities directed at Jordan and Kuwait follow an earlier IRGC raid on the United States Fifth Fleet headquarters located in Bahrain, along the Persian Gulf coast. Bahrain’s capital had previously come under heavy Iranian bombardment during a period of intense conflict in February.

The immediate trigger for this week’s exchanges occurred on Monday, when a US Army Apache military helicopter crashed in the strategic Strait of Hormuz. US President Donald Trump publicly asserted that the aircraft had been downed by Iranian forces.
