Arman Khan, once among the most prolific music composers and directors in Bangladesh, is making a notable return to music after a prolonged hiatus. Known for his extensive contribution to modern Bangla songs, audio albums, and television background scores, Khan is re-entering the music scene with a new World Cup-inspired track titled “Football Football”, scheduled for release on 10 June.
The song features lead vocals by Bijoy Mamun, frontman of the band Bijoy. Arman Khan has written the lyrics and composed the music, marking a significant creative collaboration. The music video for the track has already been completed, signalling a full-scale release plan in motion.
Although currently residing in Srimangal due to professional commitments, Khan has maintained a steady connection with music. In November last year, a recording studio was established at the Grand Sultan Tea Resort, where he is employed. This facility has allowed him to balance his corporate responsibilities with renewed musical activity.
Speaking about his return, Khan said that professional obligations had limited his ability to produce music regularly in recent years. However, with access to the in-house studio, he has resumed composing and is actively working on new material. He also noted that this is the first time in around 14 years that a song written and composed by him is being released in another artist’s voice, as most of his recent work had been self-performed.
The upcoming release carries additional significance as it aligns with the global excitement surrounding the FIFA World Cup, an event Khan described as a universal celebration for football fans. The project is sponsored by Universal Medical College Hospital and will be released under the Organ Music label. Early reactions from both music and football enthusiasts have already generated considerable anticipation.

Arman Khan is the eldest son of legendary Bangladeshi composer Alam Khan, and was born on 3 February 1977 in Dhaka. Raised in a deeply musical environment, he grew up alongside two brothers and a sister, with his mother being Habibunnessa Gulbanu Khan.
During the late 1990s and early 2000s, Khan became a familiar name in Bangladesh’s band and contemporary music industry. His compositions were performed by some of the country’s most prominent artists, and his creative output in a short span established him as a leading figure in music production at the time.
Beyond music, Khan also developed a strong reputation in television drama scoring. His work on Abdullah Al Mamun’s pioneering daily serial Joar Bhata marked the beginning of a long and successful journey in background composition, eventually making him a trusted name among directors and producers.
In 2013, he transitioned into the hospitality sector, joining the Grand Sultan Tea Resort and Golf in Srimangal as Head of Sales and Marketing. Over time, he advanced to the position of General Manager, demonstrating the same discipline and creativity in his corporate career as he once did in music.
