Cocktail-like Object Found Behind BNP Office

A cocktail-like explosive object has been recovered by the police from behind the BNP office in the Titudhah Union area of Damurhuda Upazila, Chuadanga.

At around 10:00 AM on Friday, several local residents of Titudhah Union noticed a bomb-like object hidden in the bushes behind the BNP office. They immediately informed the police at the Darsana police station, who rushed to the scene, secured the area, and later retrieved the explosive device.

The discovery of the cocktail-like object caused panic in the area. Local residents stated that the space behind the BNP office had been neglected for a long time, and no one is certain about who placed the explosive there. This incident has sparked various discussions and speculations among the locals.

Inspector (Investigation) Sultan Mahmood, the officer-in-charge of Darsana police station, confirmed the recovery of the explosive object. He stated that the matter is being taken very seriously. The bomb disposal unit of RAB-12 from Rajshahi has already been notified and is on its way to the site to deactivate the device.

The police further stated that after the bomb is deactivated, an investigation will be conducted to determine how the explosive ended up there, who placed it, and whether there was any plan for sabotage behind it. Legal actions will also be taken based on the findings of the investigation.
