Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) has announced that the scale of its military operations will be further increased following its 28th strike under the “True Promise Four” campaign, signalling an intensification of regional hostilities.
According to Tasnim News, as reported by Pars Today, the IRGC’s air defence units launched a series of coordinated missile and drone attacks targeting Israeli and US military installations, including Tel Aviv, Be’er al-Saba, and the United States’ Al Asrak Air Base. The operation, conducted under the command structure named “Amirul Muminin (A.)”, reportedly inflicted damage on multiple strategic military targets.
| Target | Weapon Used | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Tel Aviv, Israel | Khaibar Shekan missile | Heavy, wide-area destructive capability employed |
| Be’er al-Saba, Israel | Khaibar Shekan missile | Multiple missile strikes on military installations |
| Al Asrak Air Base, USA | Drone and missile strikes | Largest US air operations hub, multiple attack waves |
The Al Asrak Air Base, identified as the United States’ largest operational air facility in the region, was reportedly struck on several occasions during the offensive. The IRGC claimed that its new missile systems were used to target both Israeli and American installations with precision and substantial destructive impact. In addition, the Khaibar Shekan missiles deployed on Israeli targets were described as “extremely heavy” with significant area-denial and destruction capacity, underscoring Iran’s strategic messaging and deterrence posture.
In an official statement, the IRGC indicated that the operations were only the beginning of an expanded campaign. “In the coming hours and days, the scope of attacks against aggressive Israeli and American positions will increase. The Iranian public will be promptly informed of all developments,” the statement said.
Analysts note that these strikes represent an escalation in the region’s ongoing military tensions, reflecting Iran’s capability and willingness to conduct cross-border operations against high-value targets. The use of both drones and advanced missile systems indicates a multi-dimensional approach, blending tactical precision with strategic messaging.
The announcement comes amid heightened alert across the Middle East, with both Israeli and American forces reportedly reinforcing air defences and surveillance measures. Observers suggest that the IRGC’s public declaration of further action is intended as both a warning to adversaries and a signal to domestic audiences of Iran’s commitment to its regional objectives.
The True Promise Four campaign, now in its 28th iteration, illustrates Iran’s sustained operational planning and the increasing role of missile and drone technology in modern asymmetric warfare. Regional experts caution that continued escalation could exacerbate security instability and heighten the risk of broader military confrontations.
