While the association is well-regarded for its year-round calendar of social and cultural initiatives, this particular gathering carried a distinct atmosphere of solemnity and brotherhood, consistent with the sacred month.
The event drew an impressive assembly of over 200 former students. These attendees, once peers on the sprawling green campus of Rajshahi University, have since transitioned into distinguished professionals across various sectors, including academia, the civil service, and the media. The evening served as more than just a meal; it was a powerful networking platform and a heartfelt journey down memory lane.
Presided over by Habibur Rahman Sardar, President of Rabian Uttara, and elegantly moderated by Selim Reza, the session featured brief yet impactful speeches from several notable figures. The speakers lauded the association’s commitment to maintaining these traditions, which serve to bridge the gap between different generations of alumni.
