Inflation in November this year increased to 8.29 percent, up from 8.17 percent in October. In November 2024, the inflation rate had stood at 11.38 percent.
This information has emerged from the latest report released today, Sunday, by the Bangladesh Bureau of Statistics (BBS).
According to BBS data, food inflation also rose slightly over the month. In November this year, food inflation reached 7.36 percent, compared to 7.08 percent in October.
In the non-food sector, however, inflation in November declined somewhat to 9.08 percent, down from 9.13 percent in October. In November last year, the non-food inflation rate had been 9.39 percent.
