NRBC Bank Wins ‘Silver Rank’ for Sustainability

NRBC Bank PLC has achieved the ‘SILVER RANK’ in the Asia Sustainability Reporting Rating-2025, conducted by the National Centre for Corporate Reporting (NCCR), Indonesia, in collaboration with the Institute of Certified Sustainability Practitioners (ICSP).

Dr. Md. Touhidul Alam Khan, Managing Director & CEO of the Bank, received the award from Prof. Dr. Eko Ganis Sukoharsono, Chairman of the ICSP Advisory Board, in a grand ceremony held at Bali, Indonesia, on Friday, according to a press release.

Notably, NRBC Bank published its first-ever Sustainability Report-2024, themed "Inclusive Innovation, Green Tomorrow". The report follows Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) Standards and emphasizes the bank’s commitment to sustainable development, social responsibility, and environmentally friendly financing.

Key initiatives include green and sustainable financing, investments in renewable energy, and climate-resilient agriculture. These efforts underscore NRBC Bank’s commitment to promoting sustainable economic growth while maintaining social and environmental responsibility.
