According to the official notifications:
Atikur Rahman Rumon, a seasoned journalist, has been appointed as the Additional Press Secretary to the Prime Minister. He will receive remuneration and benefits at the final stage of the Grade-2 pay scale.
Md. Mehedul Islam has been assigned as Private Secretary-2 (PS-2), receiving the final stage salary of the Grade-4 pay scale.
Abdur Rahman Sani will serve as Assistant Private Secretary-2 (APS-2), with compensation aligned to the final stage of the Grade-6 pay scale.
These appointments will remain in effect until the end of the Prime Minister’s term or until her satisfaction, whichever occurs first. Additional terms and conditions of service will be detailed in formal contracts executed with the Government.
The appointments come on the same day that Abu Abdullah M Saleh assumed office as the Prime Minister’s Press Secretary, marking a significant restructuring within the Prime Minister’s communications team.
