Australian batter David Warner has been briefly detained in Sydney over an alleged drink-driving incident, placing the veteran opener at the centre of an off-field controversy just as he prepared to rejoin his Pakistan Super League (PSL) commitments with Karachi Kings.
The incident, reported by the Australian Associated Press (AAP), occurred during routine police roadside breath-testing operations in Sydney.
