ABM Ruhul Amin Hawlader, Co-Chairman of the Jatiya Party, welcomed the court’s decision, calling it a “historic verdict” and a strong rebuke of autocratic practices within political parties.

“This ruling proves that law and justice are still alive. The truth cannot be suppressed, nor can the party’s constitution be trampled underfoot,” he said.

He further emphasised that the Jatiya Party is not the private property of any individual but a political platform that embodies the hopes and aspirations of millions across the country.

“Today’s court ruling has brought this platform back to the path of democracy. We are grateful to Almighty Allah and extend heartfelt thanks and congratulations to our party leaders, workers, and the people of Bangladesh. Let truth prevail, and arrogance be defeated.”

This legal intervention signifies a critical juncture for the Jatiya Party, signalling renewed emphasis on internal democracy, constitutional governance, and institutional accountability.
