Popular Dhallywood actress Shabnur has revealed that some individuals are spreading misleading information, linking her name to the murder case filed 29 years ago concerning the death of legendary actor Salman Shah with ill intentions.
She shared these thoughts in a lengthy social media post on Monday (27 October).
Shabnur wrote, “Once again, some words about Salman Shah! On 21 October, as per the court’s instructions, a murder case was filed at Ramna Police Station regarding the death of legendary actor Salman Shah 29 years ago. While I was abroad, I became aware of this through media reports.”
She alleged, “Some people are maliciously associating my name with the Salman Shah murder case. I strongly condemn these baseless rumors and misinformation about me and urge everyone to refrain from spreading false and unverified information.”
Shabnur further stated, “Salman Shah was my dearest co-actor. We worked together in nearly 14 films. He was a popular, extraordinarily talented, and powerful actor. I can say without a doubt that my film career flourished and brightened because I had the opportunity to work with him.”
Speaking personally, she wrote, “I was deeply affected by Salman Shah’s untimely death. The success of our pairing once became a source of jealousy for many. After his death, some people may have spread confusion about my relationship with Salman for their own interests. But even today, I want to make it clear — I truly do not know how Salman Shah died. I only hope for a proper investigation and justice. Whoever is guilty should be brought under the law and appropriately punished.”
Finally, she added, “The pain of losing a child is unimaginable, and one can feel it by seeing the anguish of Salman’s mother, Neela (Neela Chowdhury) Aunty. I extend my heartfelt sympathy to Aunty and her family and, above all, pray for the forgiveness of Salman Shah’s soul.”
