Reports circulating on social media claiming that popular singer Tanzeeb Sarwar attempted suicide by consuming sleeping pills have been firmly denied by his wife, Saba Sanjida Rahman. The singer was admitted to the Intensive Care Unit (ICU), but his family attributes this solely to a high blood pressure episode rather than any deliberate self-harm.
Addressing concerned fans, Saba Sanjida posted on Facebook:
"Alhamdulillah, thanks to your prayers and support, Tanzeeb Sarwar is now reasonably well. His ICU admission was due to high blood pressure." She emphasised that the suicide reports circulating online are entirely false and urged the public to verify information before sharing:
"For any information, please contact us directly. Kindly refrain from spreading misleading news."
