Over the years, the Bangla Academy Literary Award has become a hallmark of literary excellence, encouraging writers, researchers, and translators to continue their creative and scholarly pursuits.

This year’s awardees reflect a broad spectrum of literary and academic contributions, from poetic expression and fiction writing to research and translation. Notably, the inclusion of categories such as children’s literature, science, and liberation war studies demonstrates the Academy’s commitment to recognising diverse fields of knowledge and the cultivation of intellectual and cultural heritage.

By highlighting the achievements of these nine individuals, the Bangla Academy continues to foster a vibrant literary environment, inspiring new generations of writers, scholars, and cultural thinkers to contribute to the development of Bangla literature and national heritage.
