The European football title races are heating up across the continent, with several leagues witnessing intense battles at the top. In Spain, Barcelona holds a comfortable lead in La Liga, sitting four points ahead of Real Madrid after 27 matches. Meanwhile, in England, Arsenal has maintained control of the Premier League title race, holding a seven-point advantage over nearest rivals Manchester City despite having played one more game.

Italian Serie A saw Inter Milan suffer a defeat in last week’s Milan Derby, but the reigning champions remain atop the table with a healthy margin. In Germany, Bayern Munich continues to dominate the Bundesliga, moving steadily towards another championship. However, the French Ligue 1 presents a more dramatic scene: PSG’s recent defeat has allowed Lens to close the gap, reducing the top-of-the-table margin to a mere point.

La Liga

Barcelona’s title charge remains strong, having won three consecutive matches. Their latest 1–0 victory over Athletic Bilbao took them to 67 points. Real Madrid, on the other hand, have 63 points from an equal number of games. Last week, Madrid returned to winning ways by beating Celta Vigo 2–1, ending a two-match losing streak.

Premier League

Arsenal has surged ahead with three straight wins, taking their points tally to 67 after 30 matches. Their most recent victory was a 1–0 triumph over Brighton. City, meanwhile, drew 2–2 with Nottingham Forest, leaving the Gunners seven points clear at the summit.

Serie A

Inter Milan lost the Milan Derby 1–0 to AC Milan but still maintain first place with 67 points from 28 games. AC Milan sit second with 60 points, meaning the season’s remaining ten fixtures could yet see dramatic shifts in the standings.

Bundesliga

Bayern Munich continues to steamroll towards the title, most recently defeating Borussia Mönchengladbach 4–1. Bayern now have 66 points from 25 matches. Borussia Dortmund, recovering from a two-match slump, beat Köln 2–1, standing at 55 points, eleven behind Bayern in the 34-match campaign.

Ligue 1

The Ligue 1 race has reached a fever pitch. PSG’s 3–1 defeat to Monaco reduced their points to 57 after 25 matches. Lens, despite a 3–0 loss to Metz, sit just a point behind with 56. Previously, Lens had briefly held a four-point advantage over PSG, highlighting the league’s unpredictability. The remaining 13 matches promise further excitement for fans.
