The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) is expected to finalise its squad selection on 1 June 2026 ahead of the high-profile home bilateral series against Australia. Highly placed institutional sources indicate that national selectors will prioritize tactical consistency rather than introducing unexpected structural changes. The upcoming squad is anticipated to remain virtually unchanged from the roster utilized during Bangladesh’s preceding international tour against New Zealand.
The multi-format tour, scheduled to run from 9 June to 21 June 2026, marks the first time in 15 years that an Australian men’s senior side will play a bilateral One-Day International (ODI) series on Bangladeshi soil. To initiate corporate and athletic preparations, the BCB will establish an official team training camp at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium in Mirpur, Dhaka, on 4 June 2026.
The competitive itinerary spans six white-ball matches, divided equally between the 50-over and 20-over international formats. The tour begins with three consecutive ODIs in Dhaka before transitioning to the coast for three Twenty20 Internationals (T20Is).
The full layout of match classifications, dates, and corresponding venues is structured in the table below:
| Tour Match Phase | Calendar Date | Cricket Format | Assigned Stadium Location |
| First ODI | 9 June 2026 | One-Day International | Sher-e-Bangla National Stadium, Dhaka |
| Second ODI | 11 June 2026 | One-Day International | Sher-e-Bangla National Stadium, Dhaka |
| Third ODI | 14 June 2026 | One-Day International | Sher-e-Bangla National Stadium, Dhaka |

| Third T20I | 21 June 2026 | Twenty20 International | Bir Shrestho FLTM Rahman Stadium, Chattogram |
Cricket Australia has already publicized its official touring contingents, introducing a transitional layout across both white-ball squads. Frontline fast-bowling options Pat Cummins, Mitchell Starc, and Josh Hazlewood have been explicitly rested for the entirety of the tour to manage workloads.
Under the leadership of all-format captain Mitchell Marsh, the Australian configurations balance experienced batting anchors with developing specialists. The authorized 15-man ODI roster and 16-man T20I block are recorded as follows:
Australia ODI Squad: Mitchell Marsh (Captain), Xavier Bartlett, Alex Carey, Cooper Connolly, Ben Dwarshuis, Nathan Ellis, Cameron Green, Travis Head, Josh Inglis, Matthew Kuhnemann, Marnus Labuschagne, Matthew Renshaw, Tanveer Sangha, Liam Scott, Adam Zampa.
