Choreographer and filmmaker Farah Khan recently visited the home of Dhanashree Verma, former wife of Indian cricketer Yuzvendra Chahal, to shoot a cooking vlog. However, the evening extended far beyond just recipes and cooking — it became a lively gathering filled with laughter, casual chatter, the aroma of delicious chicken, and revelations about previously unknown chapters of Dhanashree’s life.
During the conversation, Dhanashree shared details about her life that were largely unknown to the public.
Many know Dhanashree as a dancer and content creator, but she revealed that her professional journey began as a dentist.
She claimed, quite notably, that she had treated Bollywood actor Ranbir Kapoor, describing his teeth as completely healthy and well-maintained.

| Dance & Content | Began teaching dance after feeling an irresistible pull toward performing arts |
Dhanashree ran two clinics in Bandra and Lokhandwala, where she regularly treated patients. Despite this stable career, she felt a void in her life. Her passion for dance eventually led her to shift her professional focus.
“I started my first dance school with just seven students. They were all friends of my mother,” she shared.
This modest beginning gave her the confidence to pursue bigger dreams — specifically, becoming a female Diljit Dosanjh. She explained that she did not want to remain confined to dance alone but wished to balance acting, singing, and performing arts.
“I want to become a female Diljit Dosanjh. I want to be a pop star,” she said.
Personal Life and Marriage
Dhanashree was candid about her personal life as well. During her relationship with cricketer Yuzvendra Chahal, frequent travel to Gurgaon caused strain in their relationship.
“It was difficult, having to travel to Gurgaon often. But I learned a lot from my mother,” she reflected.
Regarding her separation from Chahal, she added: “It was painful, but we have moved forward with courtesy and mutual respect.”
For context, Yuzvendra Chahal and Dhanashree Verma married on 22 December 2020, but they separated in 2025.
This conversation with Farah Khan offered a rare glimpse into Dhanashree’s journey from dentistry to dance and performing arts, her ambitions, and the personal challenges she navigated along the way.
