ISLAMABAD, 14 May 2025 (BSS) – Imran Khan, the former Prime Minister of Pakistan who is currently imprisoned, has warned that Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi could attempt “another false-flag operation” similar to recent military actions. He stated that Modi harbours deep hatred towards Pakistan and that the firm resolve of the Pakistani nation has only further angered him.
In the wake of rising tensions and military clashes between Pakistan and India in recent days, Khan made two statements on Tuesday and Wednesday regarding the potential for further aggression. “Modi may attempt another false-flag operation like the one he conducted in Indian-occupied Jammu and Kashmir,” Khan said, urging Pakistan to remain alert and fully prepared.
He went on to explain that he had anticipated such a scenario back in 2019, warning that Modi would likely try to damage Pakistan’s economy. “The nation must remain united and prepared for any new attack,” Khan added.
The former Prime Minister further stated, “The recent tensions between Pakistan and India have once again proven that Pakistanis are a courageous, proud, and dignified nation.” He also pointed out, “Our forces have defeated Modi both in the air and on the ground, and the Pakistani people have globally dismantled the portrayal of Modi and the RSS on social media.”
Khan strongly criticised Modi, accusing him of cowardice for targeting children, women, the elderly, and civilian infrastructure in Pakistan. “However, the Pakistan Army has given an appropriate response to these attacks with their strength and precision,” Khan remarked.
“We express full solidarity with the families of the martyrs, both civilian and military,” he added.
Khan also emphasised the importance of quick responses during wartime, stating, “In times of war, rapid reactions are essential. Warfare is not just about weapons; it is also a battle of nerves—60% of it depends on mental strength. Therefore, it is crucial to have leadership that can earn the trust of the people and make courageous and timely decisions.”
Finally, Khan stressed that national morale is the strength of the armed forces. “We should not divide our people, and we must revitalise the judicial system,” he concluded.
