Mumbai’s Anti-Narcotics Cell recently uncovered a major drug syndicate linked to notorious drug lord Salim Dola, who is also known to be an associate of the infamous Dawood Ibrahim. According to reports, Salim Dola has been managing the entire network from Dubai, with his son Taher Dola being arrested in August and extradited from the United Arab Emirates. He provided vital information to the authorities regarding the drug trafficking operation.
Taher revealed that several Bollywood celebrities, actors, models, rappers, and filmmakers attended drug parties organised by the syndicate, both within India and abroad. Taher’s confession has led investigators to suspect that these events were larger than initially thought, prompting further scrutiny into whether similar parties were being held by others connected to the same network.
Taher Dola, according to sources, admitted to supplying drugs at these parties. He also named various public figures involved in such events, including Nora Fatehi and Shraddha Kapoor, among others. Investigators are now considering summoning these celebrities for questioning.
The Mumbai Anti-Narcotics Cell has confirmed that several Bollywood personalities are being linked to this investigation. In a document accessed by India Today, it was claimed that Taher Dola’s operations included organising parties where drugs were supplied to individuals with ties to the underworld, as well as actors and models.
The remand copy states, "The accused has organised drug parties both in India and abroad, where he supplied drugs." It goes on to mention, "He had organised events with several prominent figures, including Nora Fatehi, Shraddha Kapoor, and Siddharth Kapoor, among others."
In response to the allegations, Nora Fatehi took to social media, denying any involvement in such activities. She clarified, “I don’t attend any parties. I am always focused on my work. I either stay at home or spend time with my school friends in Dubai. I am working hard to fulfil my dreams, and these allegations are baseless.”
Nora also issued a warning to those spreading false information about her, saying, “To those using my name, I request you to stop. If this continues, the consequences will not be pleasant. I will not remain silent anymore.”
