The 3rd BKSP Cup Under-18 Tennis Tournament 2026 has officially concluded at the Bangladesh Krira Shikkha Protishtan (BKSP) premises. BKSP secured the team championship title across the boys’ and girls’ categories, dominating the event by winning seven gold medals and seven silver medals out of the ten separate competitive events. Jhalokati Tennis Club claimed the runners-up position by securing two gold medals, whilst Madaripur Tennis Club finished in third place overall with a tally of one gold medal and two silver medals.
The five-day national tournament featured a total of 95 youth tennis players representing 13 different teams, including BKSP, alongside various districts, clubs, and sports organisations from across Bangladesh. The participants competed intensively across ten structured age-group events, which the tournament’s organising committee noted would play a significant role in developing a competitive sporting attitude amongst BKSP athletes.
On Wednesday, 10 June 2026, the closing and prize-giving ceremony of the junior tournament was held at the BKSP complex. Colonel Md. Golam Mabud Hasan, the Director of Training at BKSP, attended the event as the chief guest and officially presented the championship trophies and medals to the winning athletes and teams.
The multi-day tournament had previously been inaugurated on 7 June 2026 by Brigadier General Mohammad Saif Ullah, the Director General of BKSP. The opening ceremony was also attended by Dr Lutfar Rahman, the Director of Administration and Finance at BKSP, alongside other sports officials and tournament organisers who supervised the logistics and implementation of the five-day sporting schedule.

Under-18 Boys’ Singles: Kabya Gayen of BKSP won the premier singles title.

In the girls’ division, BKSP players also demonstrated high performance to secure top titles in both the singles and doubles formats:
Under-12 Girls’ Singles: Jahin Tasnim Manva of BKSP secured the championship trophy.
Under-18 Girls’ Doubles: The specialist duo of Mitu and Halima representing BKSP claimed the doubles championship title.
The tournament successfully concluded its competitive fixture list without interruption, providing young tennis players from various regions of Bangladesh with an official platform to showcase their skills. The final medal counts have been verified by the officiating judges, and the organising committee expressed confidence that the annual event will continue to foster athletic development and standard tournament exposure for the nation’s rising tennis prospects.
