Pubali Bank PLC recently hosted its highly anticipated CLS Agent Conference-2025, a significant event that not only honoured the bank’s best-performing agents but also laid the foundation for ambitious future developments in the bank’s retail banking sector. The event was held at the bank’s main auditorium, located at its Head Office in Dhaka, and attracted senior leaders from across the bank.
The event was presided over by Md. Malequl Islam, Deputy General Manager (DGM) and Head of Retail Business Division, and saw the participation of key bank officials, including Managing Director and CEO, Mohammad Ali, who was present as the Chief Guest. Mohammad Esha, Ahmed Enayet Manzur, Md. Shahnewaz Khan, and Mohammad Anisuzzaman, Deputy Managing Directors of Pubali Bank, also attended the conference as special guests.
The central theme of the conference was the recognition of top-performing CLS agents for their exceptional contributions to the bank’s success in 2024. In total, 13 agents were awarded for their stellar performance, with prizes that included prestigious crests, certificates, and luxurious rewards such as private cars and motorbikes.
During his address, CEO Mohammad Ali commended the agents for their hard work and dedication. He highlighted the importance of enhancing the efficiency of CLS agents, improving transparency in loan disbursement, and creating a more customer-friendly experience. Furthermore, he announced that the bank plans to introduce more technology-based solutions to modernise the CLS services, ensuring that the bank remains competitive in an increasingly digital world.
“We are committed to enhancing our services and streamlining our processes through the use of advanced technology,” Mohammad Ali said. “This will allow us to deliver better, faster, and more efficient services to our customers. The conference also served as an opportunity for the bank’s management to share future plans for the development of CLS services, with a strong focus on technological upgrades and enhanced customer service. Pubali Bank aims to create a more dynamic network of agents who can serve customers more effectively and efficiently in the coming years.
