Shilpa Shetty and Raj Kundra Accused of Embezzling ₹60 Crore: Sensational Allegations

Bollywood actress Shilpa Shetty and her husband Raj Kundra are facing allegations of obtaining ₹60 crore from a businessman under the pretext of investment. Following these claims, the Mumbai Police has issued a Look-Out Notice against the couple, and the case is being investigated by the Economic Offences Wing (EOW).

According to Indian media reports, the accused duo reportedly took the money from the businessman in connection with their now-defunct company, Best Deal TV Private Limited.

The complainant, Deepak Kothari, alleges:

• Between 2015 and 2023, Shilpa Shetty and Raj Kundra approached him under the pretext of expanding their business operations.
• A total of ₹60 crore was obtained.
• Later, it emerged that the money was used for personal expenses.
• Initially taken as a loan, the funds were later presented as an investment, allegedly to save on taxes.

Shilpa Shetty and Raj Kundra have denied all allegations, stating that the claims are completely baseless and motivated by malice. They assert that the case is an attempt to defame them rather than a genuine legal complaint.
